Megan Vick is a blogger, entrepreneur, tech-geek, water nerd, fitness fiend, animal and environment lover, green goddess, and world traveler.

Megan graduated Magna Cum Laude from East Carolina University in Greenville, NC with a degree in Hospitality Management. After a successful management career at a national bridal gown retailer, she decided the retail life wasn’t for her. She began her career at WaterFilters.Net in January 2012 in customer service. By July, she had transitioned to the marketing department where she writes blogs for WaterFilters.Net, EcoPreneurist, Business2Community, and many other sites.

Growing up on the Outer Banks of North Carolina, Megan’s passion for water, the environment, and conservation runs deep. She does her best to live the green life, including adopting a vegetarian/vegan lifestyle. She and her husband, Matt, live in the Raleigh-Durham area of North Carolina.

In her spare time, Megan enjoys dancing, yoga, cooking vegan meals, reading, playing video games, and watching TV. Megan also enjoys traveling both domestically (to 26 states, so far) and internationally. She has been to Australia, New Zealand, Ireland, Tonga, and China. She hopes to go to Africa and India to work with communities who need clean water.
